# GigHuntr

> GigHuntr is an iPhone app for hiring local and remote pros. Customers describe a job and get quotes from up to 5 matched, vetted pros, usually within the hour, then compare, chat and hire. Payment is held until the customer confirms the work is done. It covers 15 fields and 180 services, from plumbing and house cleaning to music videos, mixing, DJs, tutoring and consulting. GigHuntr is open across the US, starting with California, and is coming soon to the App Store.

Customers post a request for free and pay a 5% service fee (minimum $1.99) only when they book and pay in the app. Pros join free with no subscription, buy lead credits to quote the leads they choose, and pay a 10% platform fee on booked jobs. Tips go 100% to the pro.
