Reviews you can trust
One review per paid job. Pros can reply once, in public. Reviews come down only for breaking policy, never for being negative, and nobody can pay to remove one.
Top Pro is earned, never bought
Ranking uses verified ratings, reply speed, distance and track record. Three perfect reviews cannot beat three hundred at 4.8.
Your address on a need to know basis
Pros see your first name, neighborhood and request. The exact address goes only to the pro you hire, with directions, for that job.
Money held until the work is done
Pay in the app and your payment is held. Report a problem before it is released and a person reviews it.
Report and block everywhere
On every profile, message and lead. Asking to be paid outside the app is a reportable offense, because it removes your protection.
Fair to pros, too
Credits never expire. They come back if the customer cancels, or if the request expires without your quote ever being opened.

Yes. Posting a request, getting quotes and chatting with pros is free. If you book and pay in the app, a service fee of 5% of the job (minimum $1.99) is shown before you pay. It covers payment protection and support.
Your request goes to up to 5 pros who offer that service, cover your area and are taking work. They are ranked by verified ratings (adjusted so a handful of reviews cannot beat hundreds), how fast they reply, distance and track record. Nobody can pay for a better rank.
When you book, you pay GigHuntr and we hold the payment. When the pro marks the job done, you confirm and it is released. If you do not respond, it releases on its own after 72 hours. If something went wrong, report it before release and a person reviews it. If the pro cancels, you get a full refund.
Cancel free 24 hours or more before the job. Later than that, 20% of the job price goes to the pro for the time they held. If the pro cancels, you are refunded in full. Each booking can be rescheduled up to 3 times, and the other side is told in chat.
Pros quoting your job see your first name, neighborhood and request details. Your exact address is shared only with the pro you hire, only for that job.
No. GigHuntr is a marketplace. Pros are independent businesses who set their own prices, choose their jobs and decide how they do the work. GigHuntr does not perform the services.
