Referral terms

These terms cover GigHuntr's referral and partner program ("Program"), run by XII Studios LLC, doing business as GigHuntr. They add to the GigHuntr Terms of Service and, for pros, the Pro Agreement. We may change or end the Program at any time; rewards already earned under the old terms stay valid.
1. How it works
- Everyone with a GigHuntr account gets a personal referral code and link. Partners (businesses we work with) get their own code and page.
- A new account can use one code, within 30 days of joining and before its first booking. Codes can be entered in the app or come from opening a referral link.
- The amounts below are the current ones. The app always shows the amounts that apply before you share or redeem a code.

2. Booking credits
- Booking credits apply automatically at checkout to bookings paid in the app, up to the booking total minus 50 cents.
- They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash, and are not refunded if unused.
- They expire 12 months after they are issued.
- If a booking that used credits is cancelled, the credits used come back with their original expiry date.
- Lead credits earned through the Program follow the Pro Agreement's rules for lead credits.
3. Limits
- You can earn up to 10 referral rewards in any 12-month period.
- A reward is earned only when the invited person completes a real booking or job through the Service. Cancelled, refunded, disputed or charged-back bookings do not count, and we may reverse rewards for them.
- One account per person. A phone number can be verified on only one account.
4. No abuse
You may not:
- invite yourself, create extra accounts, or use someone else's account;
- book or provide fake or self-arranged jobs, or jobs between people acting together to earn rewards;
- share codes through spam, unsolicited bulk messages, paid search ads on GigHuntr's name, coupon or deal sites, or in a way that suggests you speak for GigHuntr;
- offer to split or pay for rewards.
If we reasonably believe the Program is being abused, we may withhold, cancel or reverse rewards and credits, close the accounts involved, and recover the value of rewards already used, in addition to anything else the Terms allow.
5. Sharing responsibly
When you share your link, you are responsible for following anti-spam and marketing laws where you and the people you contact are. Only send your link to people who would want it. If you post it publicly, say that you earn a reward when people use it.
6. Partners
Businesses in the partner program sign a separate partner agreement that sets their share, payment terms and brand rules. A partner's customers are GigHuntr customers under the Terms of Service; partners do not perform or guarantee services booked through GigHuntr unless they are also the pro.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive. Where required, we may ask for tax information before issuing rewards.
