Yes. Posting a request, getting quotes and chatting with pros is free. If you book and pay in the app, a service fee of 5% of the job (minimum $1.99) is shown before you pay. It covers payment protection and support.
Each lead shows its credit cost before you quote. Cost depends on the service, how urgent it is and how detailed the request is, from about 2 credits for a lesson to around 13 for an urgent remodel. Credits come in packs from $19.99 for 20 and never expire.
If the customer cancels the request, or if it expires and the customer never opened your quote, your credits come back automatically. Every job is capped at 5 quotes, so you are never one of dozens.
Customers pay up front when they book. You are paid the job price minus the 10% platform fee once the customer confirms the work, or 72 hours after you mark it done if they do not respond. Tips are 100% yours. Payouts go to your bank through our payment processor.
Cancel free 24 hours or more before the job. Later than that, 20% of the job price goes to the pro for the time they held. If the pro cancels, you are refunded in full. Each booking can be rescheduled up to 3 times, and the other side is told in chat.
When you book, you pay GigHuntr and we hold the payment. When the pro marks the job done, you confirm and it is released. If you do not respond, it releases on its own after 72 hours. If something went wrong, report it before release and a person reviews it. If the pro cancels, you get a full refund.
