Almost anything a local or remote pro does: home repairs and cleaning, events and weddings, film and video production, music mixing and beats, DJs and performers, design, fitness, beauty, lessons, business and tech help, legal and finance basics, auto, pets and errands. 15 fields and 180 services at launch.
Your request goes to up to 5 pros who offer that service, cover your area and are taking work. They are ranked by verified ratings (adjusted so a handful of reviews cannot beat hundreds), how fast they reply, distance and track record. Nobody can pay for a better rank.
When you book, you pay GigHuntr and we hold the payment. When the pro marks the job done, you confirm and it is released. If you do not respond, it releases on its own after 72 hours. If something went wrong, report it before release and a person reviews it. If the pro cancels, you get a full refund.
Cancel free 24 hours or more before the job. Later than that, 20% of the job price goes to the pro for the time they held. If the pro cancels, you are refunded in full. Each booking can be rescheduled up to 3 times, and the other side is told in chat.
Each lead shows its credit cost before you quote. Cost depends on the service, how urgent it is and how detailed the request is, from about 2 credits for a lesson to around 13 for an urgent remodel. Credits come in packs from $19.99 for 20 and never expire.
If the customer cancels the request, or if it expires and the customer never opened your quote, your credits come back automatically. Every job is capped at 5 quotes, so you are never one of dozens.

Yes. GigHuntr has a built-in assistant, and a connector (MCP) for Claude and ChatGPT. Your assistant can review leads, check credit costs, draft quotes and work your inbox, acting only as you. Sending a quote or a message always waits for your tap to approve.
Some work needs a state license, such as many contractor trades. You are responsible for holding the licenses, permits and insurance your work needs. A license shows as Verified only after it is checked; until then it shows as Pending.
No. GigHuntr is a marketplace. Pros are independent businesses who set their own prices, choose their jobs and decide how they do the work. GigHuntr does not perform the services.
